Yield: 8-10 chicken wings
Chicken wings are often synonymous with an evening watching sports in a bar. Next time yor favourite team is playing, invite your friends to your home and prepare these delicious hot chicken wings with Dijon mustard. The only problem we see is that you will have to invite them all the time once they have tried it.
INGREDIENTS:
For the first mix
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) organic Dijon mustard
- 1/2 clove chopped garlic
- 1 tsp (5 ml) thyme
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp. (2.5 mL) Fine grey sea salt
- 1 tsp (5 ml) crushed coriander
- 1 tsp (5 ml) smoked paprika
Rest of the ingredients
- 1 Cup (250 ml) breadcrumbs (Panko style)
- 1 tsp (5 mL) dried crushed chili pepper
- ½ tsp. (5 mL) Fleur de sel
- 8-10 Whole chicken Wings (3 segments)
- flour (to flour the wings)
PREPARATION:
Mix the first 7 ingredients for the first mixture in a mixing bowl.
Put the breadcrumbs, the dried chilli pepper and the fleur de sel in a second cul de poule.
Pass the wings in the flour and brush them from the first mixture and then place them in breacrumbs, but only on one side. We will cook the wings with breadcrumbs side up.
On baking sheet, spread a parchment paper and coat the two oils (previously mixed and melted) with yourfingers or a brush.
Place the wings and bake in the oven at 350F for about 35 minutes.
