Because entertaining doesn't have to be a hassle, here's a hummus recipe that's perfect for sharing as an appetizer or as an accompaniment to a meal. We suggest you use what you have on hand and add seasonal vegetables. A little delight that your guests will certainly appreciate!
INGREDIENTS
Hummus- 1 can of chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- ¼ cup of water
- ¼ cup of balanced extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp. tahini (sesame butter)
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- The juice of half a lemon
- Seasonal vegetables of your choice *
- Fresh herbs, to taste
- Maison Orphée Fleur de Sel and pepper, to taste
- A drizzle of Maison Orphée Garlic Olive oil
* We used roasted chickpeas, preserved lemon and chopped chili.
PREPARATION
- Place chickpeas in a food processor. Add lemon juice, water, olive oil, tahini and garlic.
- Mix until smooth and homogeneous.
- Place hummus in a soup plate and garnish with seasonal vegetables and fresh herbs.
- Add fleur de sel and pepper and finish with a drizzle of garlic olive oil.
- Enjoy!
