Kickstart your evening with flavour-packed bites! There’s nothing better than our three easy appetizer bites paired with Maison Orphée Jakarta Masala Accent Sauce to add a touch of exotic flair. Rich with spices and a feast for the senses, this sauce transforms every bite into a delightful taste sensation.

Not only are these bites delicious, but they’re also incredibly simple to make. Spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying the festivities!

 


1. Halloumi bites on mini naan bread

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 5-10 minutes

Total time: 10-15 minutes

Yield: 4-6 portions

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) Greek yogurt
  • Small bunch of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) honey
  • 200 g halloumi cheese, cut into 12 cubes
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) Maison Orphée Jakarta Masala Accent Sauce, plus extra for garnishing
  • Maison Orphée Perfect Oil TM
  • 12 mini naan breads
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber, sliced
  • Cilantro leaves, for garnishing
PREPARATION
  1. Combine yogurt, chopped cilantro, jalapeño, and honey in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. Toss the halloumi cubes with the Accent Sauce.

  3. Heat a pan over medium heat and add a drizzle of Maison Orphée’s Perfect Oil TM. Fry halloumi cubes for about 2 minutes per side until golden.

  4. Spread the yogurt sauce on mini naan bread and layer with cucumber slices, fried halloumi, and a cilantro leaf. Add a finishing drizzle of the Accent Sauce for flair.

 

2. Tuna tartare bites on crispy egg roll triangles

Preparation time: 5-10 minutes

Cook time: 10-15 minutes

Total time: 15-25 minutes

Yield: 4-6 portions

INGREDIENTS
  • 6 egg roll wrappers, cut into triangles
  • Maison Orphée Organic Sunflower Oil for cooking
  • 2 fresh tuna steaks, cubed
  • 2 Lebanese cucumbers, diced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) Maison Orphée Jakarta Masala Aceent Sauce
  • Small bunch of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Jalapeño slices, for garnishing
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) sesame seeds, for garnishing
PREPARATION
  1. Heat Maison Orphée Organic Sunflower Oil in a deep skillet. Fry the egg roll triangles 1-2 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt.

  2. In a bowl, mix tuna, cucumber, green onions, avocado, cilantro, and Accent Sauce. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Spoon the tuna tartare onto the crispy triangles and garnish with sesame seeds and jalapeño slices.

 

3. Bacon-wrapped shrimp

Preparation time: 5-10 minutes

Cook time: 10-15 minutes

Total time: 15-25 minutes

Yield: 4-6 portions

INGREDIENTS
PREPARATION
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Wrap each shrimp in a half slice of bacon.

  3. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until the bacon is crispy.

  4. Serve with the Accent Sauce for dipping
