A word from Les Mauvaises Herbes
Hair care from pantry staples? Absolutely! Vegetable oils aren’t just for cooking. Create a nourishing hair serum with sesame and avocado oils for a treatment that strengthens, balances, softens, and smooths. A true multitasker!
How does it work?
Sesame and avocado oils are perfect for hair care, forming a protective film that leaves hair soft, smooth, and supple thanks to their sheathing properties.
Vegetal squalane, derived from olive oil, enhances this effect with its film-forming, sheathing, and repairing benefits.
To top it off, grapefruit essential oil helps reduce hair loss, strengthens strands, and regulates sebum production, making it ideal for oily hair.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 tsp. (10 ml or 8.5 g) Maison Orphée Virgin Sesame Oil
- 1 tbsp. (15 ml or 17 g) Maison Orphée Avocado Oil
- 1 tsp (5 ml or 3.5 g) Les Mauvaises Herbes vegetable squalane
- 20 drops Les Mauvaises Herbes pink grapefruit essential oil
MATERIAL
- Kitchen scale or measuring spoons
- 30 ml jar
- A small funnel, if necessary
PREPARATION
-
Pour all ingredients into the pipette bottle, then shake well.
USE
To strengthen hair or balance oily scalps: Apply a small amount of serum to the scalp and massage gently to penetrate. Leave on for 20 minutes, then wash hair with your usual shampoo.
To repair split ends and add shine: Apply to dry hair. Pour a few drops of serum into damp palms and apply to lengths and ends, smoothing in gently. Moistening the hands facilitates the application and absorption of the oil into the hair.
