Pigs in a Blanket with Mustard

Simple and effective, it's hard to beat sausage rolls as the perfect appetizer for any occasion. If you want to stand out from the crowd, just add some Spicy Maple Mustard for a pleasant surprise that will tingle your taste buds!



  • 1 package (8 units) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls
  • 16 small cocktail sausages
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) Maison Orphée's Spicy Maple Mustard
  • 1 egg yolk beaten with 60 ml (1/4 cup) milk

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet.
  2. Unroll the dough; separate at the perforations to form 4 rectangles and coat with a thin layer of mustard.
  3. Cut each rectangle into 4 pieces to form 4 right-angled triangles.
  4. Wrap each triangle around a cocktail sausage, ending at the tip, and set aside.
  5. Lightly brush each piece with the egg and milk mixture.
  6. Transfer to the baking sheet and bake for 14-15 minutes on the middle rack.
  7. Transfer to a plate covered with paper towels, then serve hot.



Put toothpicks and a jar of Spicy Maple Mustard at your guests' disposal. They'll love it!
