These irresistible cupcakes were made with our Chocolate Cake Mix, creating a soft, flavourful base. Topped with a perfectly whipped, creamy ganache, they’re as beautiful as they are delicious.
Warning: These cupcakes disappear faster than they’re made.
INGRÉDIENTS
For the chocolate cake
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) Maison Orphée Perfect Oil TM (or any other oil of your choice)
- 180 ml (3/4 cup) milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 bag of Maison Orphée Chocolate Cake Mix
For the white chocolate ganache
- 85 g (3 oz) white chocolate, chopped
- 250 ml (1 cup) 35% cream
- 80 g (1/2 cup) sprinkle candies for decorating, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a double boiler, melt the chocolate. Add half of the cream and stir until the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat, add the remaining cream, and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the instructions on the package. Pour the batter into 12 cupcake liners and bake until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Let cool completely before decorating.
- When ready to decorate, whip the chilled ganache with an electric mixer until the cream is firm and fluffy. Using a piping bag, frost the cooled cupcakes.
- Sprinkle with candies to decorate your cupcakes.
- Serve or store in the refrigerator.
