Chocolate Coulis with Hazelnut Oil

Whether it's for a sweet brunch, a dessert or as an ice cream topping, this chocolate coulis will provide the perfect finishing touch for all the chocolate lovers.  

 

 

INGREDIENTS 

  • 100 g bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) cocoa powder
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) maple syrup
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) Maison Orphée's Hazelnut Oil

PREPARATION

    1. In a small pot, over very low heat, add the chocolate and the cream. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the chocolate is melted.
    2. Add the cocoa powder, the maple syrup and the hazelnut oil. Mix well and cook another 1 minute, stirring well. Serve hot.
