Bell Pepper Spreads

Because we love simple, but still nutritious and tasty meals, here is a delicious recipe for bell pepper toast that you can eat at lunchtime, as a snack and, for those who like it salty in the morning, for breakfast. Enjoy your meal!

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 yellow peppers
  • 2 tbsp. walnut oil
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Toasted sesame seeds, to taste
  • Chopped mint leaves, to taste
  • Maison Orphée Fleur de Sel 
  • Pepper, to taste

 

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Remove seeds and cut peppers into quarters. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. When the oven is ready, cook the peppers until the skin is blackened, about 20 minutes.
  4. Let stand in a paper bag. Peel when cool.
  5. Process peppers in food processor with oil and lemon juice until creamy. Season to taste.
  6. Toast the bread slices and rub them with the garlic clove.
  7. Spread with bell pepper mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds and mint.
