There's nothing more pleasant than a family meal of pancakes on Sunday morning... Except Julie's famous spaghetti pancakes! Roll up your sleeves and invite the little cooks into the kitchen... Behind the spectacular appearance of these pancakes lies a very simple production process, within the reach of all parents, no matter how good they are in the kitchen.
Delicious with butter, maple syrup or chocolate sauce, they can also be eaten with a 3-ingredient blueberry compote topping and an irresistible easy lemon sauce!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup unbleached all-purpose white flour
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 2 tbsp Maison Orphées Perfect Oil TM
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 pinches of salt
- 4 eggs
- Granola, yogurt or chocolate chips or nuts (to serve taste)
PREPARATION
- Add flour to a large bowl.
- In a second bowl, combine milk, The Perfect Oil TM, maple syrup, vanilla extract and salt. Mix well.
- Pour the liquid mixture into the flour and blend well with a whisk.
- Add the eggs one by one using a wooden spoon, mixing well. Small bubbles should form on the surface.
- Let stand for 30 minutes, then pour into a kitchen dropper (pipette) with a 5 mm wide nozzle (approximately).
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low, and add a small amount of oil using a circular motion from the center to the outside to form a spiral.
- Wait 1-2 minutes until the pancake has risen and is no longer liquid in appearance. Slide the pancakes onto a large plate.
- Repeat the step with all the pancake batter. Adding a small amount of oil after 3-4 spirals is recommended.
PRO TIP
If you wish, you can reheat the spaghetti crepe ribbons in the microwave for 1-2 minutes before dividing them into bowls for serving. Garnish to taste and enjoy with your kids.
Is your pancake batter browning too quickly? Your heat is too high. If your pancake batter seems to lose its shape when it comes into contact with the pan, your heat is not high enough.
