INGRÉDIENTS
- 4 croissants, coupés en deux sur le sens de l’épaisseur
- 4 croissants, cut in half lengthwise
- 4 slices bacon
- 8 eggs
- 4 slices of cheese
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) Maison Orphée Dijon Mustard
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) maple syrup
- 2 cups (500 ml) arugula
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Chopped chives (optional)
PRÉPARATION

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Spread bacon slices on a baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

In a bowl, whisk the eggs. Season with salt and pepper.

Add a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the eggs and cook for a few minutes.

In a bowl, combine Dijon mustard and maple syrup.

Spread croissants on a baking sheet. Brush the inside of the croissants with the Dijon mustard-maple syrup mixture.

Add the eggs and cheese slices on the croissants' bottom half. Bake for 4-5 minutes.

Top with bacon slices, tomatoes, chives and arugula. Close croissants and serve.
Tip
This blend of flavours works just as well with store-bought frozen waffles or homemade crepes! Any occasion is a good one to enjoy our Dijon mustard.
