INGREDIENTS
- 200 g (1 cup) Maison Orphée crumbled leftover carrot cake
- 120 g (3/4 cup) orange frosting (or any frosting of your choice)
- 10 lollipop sticks
Topping
- 100 g (3 1/2 oz) white chocolate, melted and tempered (see Note 1)
- 60g (1/2 tasse) de Noix de Grenoble grillées, ou autres noix (facultatif), hachées

INSTRUCTIONS
-
In a bowl, mix the crumbled cake and frosting with a fork until a smooth dough forms. Shape into 10 evenly sized balls. Refrigerate for 30 minutes (see Note 2).
- Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the melted chocolate. Insert it into a cake ball through the chocolate-coated end. Let it set while you assemble the remaining cake pops.
- Dip each cake ball into the melted white chocolate. Press the surface into the chopped nuts and let set completely.
Note
- White chocolate tends to be thicker than other types. Adding a small amount of oil makes it smoother and easier to dip.
- To speed things up, you can place the cake balls in the freezer for 10 minutes.
