Here is an ideal recipe for colder weather. Our Virgin Toasted Sesame Oil will fill your kitchen with its delicious aroma. Mixed with mushrooms and peas, it's a delicious, comforting and nutritious combination that you're sure to love as much as we do!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
- ¼ cup virgin toasted sesame oil
- 1 clove of garlic, chopped
- 250 g mushrooms, sliced
- 12 large spinach leaves, chopped
- 1 cup fresh or frozen peas
- 2 cups of bean sprouts
- 2 tbsp. tamari
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh ginger
PREPARATION
- Lightly toast the sesame seeds and set aside.
- Heat 1 tbsp. oil in a skillet and sauté garlic and mushrooms for 2 minutes.
- Add peas, spinach and bean sprouts. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Finally, add the remaining oil, tamari, lemon juice and ginger. Cook for 1 minute more.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
