Olive lovers will love this homemade tapenade recipe that brings out the delicious taste of this fruit by using black olives and our Extra Virgin Olive Oil Fruity Green. However, feel free to replace the latter with any olive oil Maison Orphée that you prefer. Super easy to make, this recipe will most likely become one of your favorites!
INGREDIENTS
HOMEMADE CROUTONS
- ½ loaf baguette, cut into thin slices
- 3 tbsp. Delicate extra virgin olive oil
TAPENADE
- ¾ cup of black olives
- 1 tbsp. capers
- 1 clove of garlic
- Juice of one lemon
- ¼ cup of extra virgin olive oil Fruity Green Maison Orphée
- Pepper, to taste
- Fine grey sea salt with aromatic herbs Maison Orphée
- Fresh basil leaves, chopped
PREPARATION
HOMEMADE CROUTONS
- Preheat oven to 275°F.
- Line an ovenproof baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place bread slices on the baking sheet. Using a silicone brush, brush both sides with olive oil.
- Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown.
TAPENADE
- Place all tapenade ingredients in a food processor. Blend until a paste is obtained.
- Season to taste.
- Spread the tapenade on the bread slices, garnish with basil and enjoy!
