Its extraction requires specialized expertise, as grape seeds are tough and contain little oil. Hot pressing is necessary to capture the essence of each seed, followed by refining to ensure a high smoke point.

Grape seed oil is extracted through hot pressing and refined because grape seeds contain little oil. Cold pressing is possible but rare and very expensive. It is bottled in dark glass containers that protect it from light.
