Looking to add a unique twist to your appetizers or bread platters? Try our homemade dukkah, a blend of toasted nuts and spices inspired by Egyptian culinary traditions. Simply dip a piece of bread into olive oil, then press it into the dukkah… and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
- 100 g (3/4 cup) raw nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, and/or pistachios)
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) sesame seeds (black and/or white)
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) coriander seeds
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) cumin seeds
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) paprika
- 7,5 ml (1 1/2 tsp) Maison Orphée Fleur de sel
- A pinch of cayenne pepper

INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F).

Spread the nuts on a baking sheet. Roast in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool.

On the same baking sheet, combine the sesame seeds, coriander, and cumin. Roast for 5 minutes. Let cool.

Using a food processor or mortar and pestle, finely crush the nuts. Transfer to a bowl.

Similarly, crush the spices. Add them to the nuts, then stir in the remaining ingredients. Mix well.

To serve, dip a piece of focaccia into olive oil, then press it into the dry dip.
