This sauce originally found in Argentinian cuisine brings a touch of freshness to all your proteins. Made with fresh herbs and olive oil, it goes particularly well with red meats. Can be used as a marinade before cooking aswell as a condiment when serving. This version made with Maison Orphée Fruity Green Extra virgin olive oil is the ideal option to enhance your dishes in summer and winter alike.
INGREDIENTS
- A bunch of finely chopped parsley, about 1/4 cup
- A bunch of finely chopped cilantro, about 1/4 cup
- A few finely chopped fresh oregano leaves, about 1 tbsp.
- 1/2 French shallot, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 30 mL (2 tbsp.) Maison Orphée red wine vinegar
- 2.5 mL (1/2 tsp.) chili flakes, or more, to taste
- 60 mL (1/4 cup) Maison Orphée extra virgin olive oil fruity green gourmet
PREPARATION
In a bowl, mix all ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
