We all know someone who thinks they make THE best mayonnaise-based sauce. At Maison Orphée, we don't play favourites. In fact, we even have a few tasty suggestions, perfect for all occasions!

Here are 7 delicious sauces for a change from the classic mayo-ketchup (and much more delightful at that)!



Homemade Tartar Sauce

Delicious with grilled fish!


Burger Sauce

Perfect for your seasonal burgers!


Curry Sauce

Absolutely delicious on everything!


Fresh Herbs Sauce

  • 250 ml of Fresh Mayonnaise Maison Orphée
  • 1 tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp. chopped basil
  • 1 tbsp. chopped dill
  • 1 tbsp. chopped green onion or chives
  • The zest of a lemon
  • Freshly ground pepper

 Great with seafood and French fries!

Express ''Rouille'' Sauce

Ideal with seafood, fish soup, poultry, grilled meats and vegetables.

Asian Touch Sauce

  • 250 ml of Fresh Mayonnaise Maison Orphée
  • 1 tbsp. miso diluted with 1 tsp. hot water
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tbsp. toasted sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds to taste

Excellent as a dip, for fondues, on grilled fish, veal, turkey or tofu burger!

1. Simply mix all the ingredients from the sauce of your choice until you get a smooth texture.
