Sesame Rice Pilaf

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups of basmati rice
  • 120 g carrots, diced
  • 120 g cauliflower, diced
  • 120 g frozen or fresh peas
  • 2 tbsp. virgin toasted sesame oil
  • ¼ tsp. garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh ginger, chopped
  • ¼ tsp. turmeric
  • ¼ tsp. cumin
  • ¼ tsp. ground cilantro
  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

PREPARATION

  1. Rinse the rice and cook according to the instructions on the box.
  2. Meanwhile, cook vegetables in boiling water for one minute.
  3. In a sauté pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic, ginger and spices. Mix well.
  4. Add the vegetables and rice. Cook for a few more minutes.
  5. Enjoy!
